East Glacier Spring Wedding / Megan and Cason

Weather in Montana in the spring can be unpredictable and stressful. And add on top of that navigating permitting changes from Glacier National Park, it can lead to a headache!

But Megan and Cason didn’t let any of that impact their spring wedding this last Saturday. When actually getting married in Many Glacier didn’t pan out, our plan B was to do their ceremony at their VRBO in Essex. To make sure we still got some Glacier photos, we decided to leave their personal vows until later in the evening when we could sneak away. It turned out to be the perfect option.

Perhaps one of the most fun moments from the day was the prank first look Megan pulled off for Cason. Their officiant dressed up in a white dress, and we totally had Cason fooled! Megan said several times that she was maybe more excited for the prank first look, than their personal vows in Glacier. Just maybe.

There is a current trend floating around on Instagram where someone shows the “soft smile” they practiced for their wedding, only to show their actual wedding photos that were full of big smiles, and tears and laughter. I mean this in the best way possible, but Megan and Cason completely failed at the soft smile. See for yourself!
