Winter Wedding in Wasilla, Alaska - Levi + Brenna

Photographing Levi and Brenna’s wedding has been almost a decade in the making.

I met Brenna my first week at college at Montana State University. We soon became good friends, and as I progressed through my photography program, we always joked that she would fly me to wherever she was going to get married and I would photograph it.

10 years later, we finally got to make that joke turn into a reality.

Brenna and Levi certainly had their wedding plans thrown for a loop with COVID. The first plan was for a wedding in Hawaii, which then turned into Anchorage, which finally settled on Wasilla, AK at a gorgeous barn venue. Oh, and did I mention that Brenna and Levi live in Florida? Their wedding literally travelled across the country! Not to mention the many precautions they took to ensure a COVID free wedding. They get the gold medal for being flexible and adapting!

The photos turned out incredible, but my favorite part of the wedding was getting to see all the people who love and support these two gather to help celebrate. I felt lucky to get to witness such strong community.
